Best best by far is Wolfies, which is about a 10 min walk out of the main square area. The staff are very friendly and they make a lot of food fresh on the premises, there is also a bar area with a few friendly locals. All in all a cracking night! With regards the main square, we think 'the square' restaurant does the best food, the waiting staff and owner however are a bit 'out to lunch', so service can be a bit hit and miss, but this can be said of most restaurants in the square. If you pay peanuts...you get monkeys as they say! The worst restaurant we have ate at was 'bogeys' on the lower level of the square. It is supposed to be a fish restaurant, I don't mean to sound harsh but our food looked and tasted like something the cat brought up. Hope this helps. If you want a Jalfrezi but not too hot, just ask. Staff are efficient and friendly and it's good value too. It was recommended to us and we've recommended it to others. We had friends visiting recently who wanted to go to Villa Martin Square and wanted a good Indian curry We decided foolishly to try the new Saffron on the front of the Plaza that used to be Fusion What a mistake the staff were miserable could not reccomend anything we ordered 4 diffrent curries they all looked the same with a maximum of 4 little bits of chicken tasted like they were out of a tin they couldnt even get the right nam bread to our table we spent a total of over 130 euros Never again do not bother using this place a waste of time and money We have lived in villa martin for 6 years now and have tried lots of Indian restaurants in the time that we have been here.
