Found the new manageress really funny and helpful, ask for certain cheeses i.e. blue stilton and cheddar and asked for digestive biscuits which were not on the menu, but couldn’t have been more helpful. 9/10 will be back as soon as we return at the end of May.” Barry M. I used to frequent Options for a quality meal out. However the last two times have been more than disappointing. The first I thought it was unlucky, the second confirms the food is not what it once was. If you do chance it, make sure you book a table on the “upper staged area”, or you risk sitting on the lower level with other peoples feet at your face height and less than a meter away, seriously have these guys not heard of opaque glass!!!
The decor is fantastic so I suspect they have. The service was still first class. A long term client that will not be giving a third benefit of the doubt. Final visit August 2009.
2nd time of dining (Sept ’09), and certainly not disappointed, the menu is very varied and the service is very good.
Agree with the previous comment that the upper area is better for eating.
Food is cooked to perfection and the wine list and cocktails are great.
Thoroughly recommend this lovely restaurant.
