“If you are looking for somewhere special to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, this is the place. Family owned and attention to detail is king. They have leg of kid on the menu, which falls off the bone and melts in the mouth. Also, there is a chocolate pudding on the dessert menu which has a cakey crust and a runny, thick, rich chocolate centre to die for. Wines are superb, atmosphere is intimate and everything in general is absolutely scrummy. Apart from the price, which is about 80 euros per head for three courses and a bottle of something delightful. Still, you can’t have everything. Look for it on the seafront in Moraira, there is also a La Sort Hotel attached if you fancy staying overnight.” Jan G. March ’08
