“Good menu for about 12 euros and the surroundings are really nice, the restaurant is nicely done, the white linen and other touches add a bit of quality. Lovely rice puddings. Note that Los Almendros is not open at lunchtimes.” Amanda S. March ’08
“Los Almendros restaurant in Javea really is excellent with a good up market feel. Smart table dressings. A good selection of food, for example the Menu del Dia which I think costs 11.50 euros has a choice of five starters and five main courses – more than many other restaurants. I personally like the stuffed mushrooms to start with, followed by the lamb chops as the main course. Also as part of the Menu del Dia they have a specialty of the day which changes on a regular basis. This means I am more likely to go back. Oh, also coffee is included in the menu which is quite unusual. Part of the inside of the restaurant is an extended part but the original inside part is preferable, it is really cosy. 9 out of 10. Menu del dia now € 14,- (march 2010), some appetizers, 3 courses, wine and coffee included. Very good menu and nice waiters. I will certainly go there more often!
