“The Austrian chef at La Guardia is first class, and an expert on producing traditional game dishes in the hunting season. During the venison season you have to book well in advance to get in. At other times he turns out the very best steaks to be found in Javea. The other great thing is you can get a serious helping of vegetables in this establishment, served in hot tureens on the table.   1. Great food, huge selection and absolutely massive portions! Try the fish soup starter which is a speciality. Service is good and you have a choice of dining on the large terrace or inside. The menu (from which all dishes are home-made) has everything from pizzas to schnitzel to steak……. The staff/owners are very friendly and accomodating. Definitely worth a visit!
