From the owner – The restaurant can seat around 40 people comfortably, is very modern and has an open kitchen, so the clients are able to see the kitchen and also whet their appetites with the aromas that waft through to the dining room.

Our menu is strongly influenced from recipes from Northern Spain using excellent ingredients such as buey, iberican pork, venison and scallops all of which are prepared when ordered to maintain maximum flavour in the meals. We specialise in delicious home made desserts and a real favourite with clients so far has been our baked New York cheesecake.

Daily we offer a dish of the day and this we try to incorporate into our menu del dia which is priced at 15.00 Euros. All our prices include IVA.

We would like to encourage clients to use us as a wine bar, not just a restaurant as we have a very extensive wine list which has been personally selected by our chef Cliff Board and up to 20 of the wines are available by glass. If wine is not your tipple then we also have in house a wide range of French, German and Belgium beers and also we are pleased to be able to offer Ferran Adrià’s own recipe beer which has proved popular with our Spanish clients.

We are a no smoking restaurant and we do cater for children. Presently we are open 7 days a week and close on Sunday evenings. We offer a dish of the day on Sunday which has proved popular.

I would like to offer your readers a free glass of wine on their first visit to our restaurant, for them to enjoy with their meal.

Our ethos at La Cocina is to pay attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction which I hope will ensure us a successful restaurant.
