El Rancho Restaurant, Javea – “My friends and I recently ate at El Rancho in Javea just past the Taste of India, we all found it brilliant, they have a great choice of snacks and a big selection of starters and main courses and the portions are huge, they do all day breakfasts 9am-5pm although I haven’t tried them yet. We had the half a chicken and ribs which came with a salad and onion rings and chips or jacket potato, it really is excellent value! All the staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was lovely, you can sit inside or in the gardens which are lovely and there is also a waterfall.” D.B. June ’08
“I would agree with the first review of El Rancho in Javea. this under new management restaurant is welcoming and friendly and it has a very pleasant setting. But we went on a Sunday for the roast and were disappointed. Great portions, but the meat slices seemed to be pre packaged warm ups which soon went curly at the edges. Sorry but not what we like in a good roast. What a pity because they so nearly had it right.” P.P. October 2008
