El Portet Restaurant in the Port area of Javea – Where: If you are facing the cinema in the Port then it is a few doors down to the right (where the steps go up and then down).
“I would say this is our favourite Javea restaurant. Something I love and which isn’t immediately obvious is that they have a fantastic terrace/garden out the back of the restaurant with vines hanging down. Sitting out the back in summer is lovely, you can smell the jasmine. El Portet is Spanish run and my husband swears the tiramisu is the best he has ever tasted! We eat here in both the summer and winter. The Menu del Dia is under 11 euros and comes with half a bottle of wine although it is not available on weekends or fiestas.” June S. March ’08
