“It’s some time since we went to Azorin but we used to go frequently. This is Spanish, cheap, crowded, noisy and serves a limited-choice three course meal with wine. The chicken soup and fish and chips are specially recommended. There is a no-smoking area, book early. Good for kids if you can stand the adult noise.” Maurice H. March ‘08

“Azorin is a great restaurant in the cheaper range with the Menu del Dia (with three choices of starter and main course) costing about 8.50 euros including half a bottle of wine. The restaurant is very consistent – by this I mean it is always good whereas sometimes with other restaurants the quality can vary depending on what day you go and what staff are working. Family run, completely non-smoking Spanish restaurant with good service. Quite bright inside so not suitable for an intimate romantic occasion! Many people come here especially for the soups they are that good although Azorin’s main specialty are their fish dishes. I love the artichokes (when in season) but I find the paella too salty for me. Closed Saturdays. 9 out of 10.” Anna B. March ‘08
