Location: Take the mountain road from Javea to Denia. Just before the road levels out, take the right turn onto La Plana. After lunch you can continue to the lighthouse to admire the amazing view.
“The family owned Amancer Restaurant is a great place to take visitors on holiday. In the summer the restaurant opens it’s swimming pool so you can amuse children easily while you are having lunch. It has the best paella in town. You can order the ‘horno’ paella here and it arrives smoking hot and served with fabulously fresh crusty bread. The ali oli is home made and the Tiramisu is excellent. Recommend booking in advance for weekends in the summer as it is very popular with Spanish families.” Jan G. March ’08
