Nice place with a pretty outside seating area. We went on a pie night and the pies were very good. The massive supermarket over the road slightly impairs the charm of the place and I can’t help thinking Rusty’s would have been even better before this development sprung up (your view beyond the garden is basically the supermarket loading area).
Even though the garden appears child friendly, with the multiple teddy bears poking out of ever corner, I got the slight impression that the Management don’t actualy like kids that much, from the number of signs advising “please do not let your children…” all over the place. Then again, not everyone’s kids are as well behaved as mine I guess.
Overall, 8 out of 10 – nice garden, the food was cheapand good and the beer was cold!
